US Air Force - Outstanding Airmen of the Year Series

The Challenge: To find a creative way to spotlight the two Airmen Engineers the won the prestigious “Outstanding Airmen of the Year” award for 2021, which is only awarded to 12 Airmen Air Force wide.

Pre-Production Process:

  • Conduct initial phone interview

  • Organize and facilitate trips to Air Force Installation

  • Conduct on-camera interviews with award winner and additional spotlights to get a holistic picture of their character

  • Capture action footage, organize film scenarios and provide art direction

  • Storytelling and editing in Adobe Premiere

  • Create and design materials for promotion and brand awareness

Post Production:

The Solution: These videos provide an introspective look at who they are, their career, their challenges, their successes and can inspire the next generation of Airmen Engineers.


US Air Force - “CE Truths” Series

The Challenge: To communicate the six core “Civil Engineer Truths” that serve as the foundation of “who we are” as USAF Civil Engineers and reinforce the value of their unique mission.

The Process:

  • Developed a video plan consisting of 12 videos - 2 for each Truth:

    • One: Graphic video outlining the truth statement with action footage, music and sound effects

    • Two: Interview of USAF Senior Leader sponsoring the truth, providing insight on what that Truth Statement means to them

  • Filmed USAF Senior Leaders via teleprompter

  • Edited and produced videos for appropriate social media specifications

The Result:

  • A consistent, well-branded campaign, communicating all “6 CE Truths” by releasing 1 Truth a week for six weeks
